Gasthaus Adler in Schliengen

I discovered it by chance and was very surprised by the fast and friendly service. The food was delicious, only the portion was too big, I couldn't finish everything. The restaurant is very cozy and has an outside terrace. There is only one drawback with "parking space".

We recommend. Good food and very friendly staff .. especially romantic when it's a bit colder and you can sit by the cozy fire

I like the slightly different interior with the many candles in the dining room. The menu is clear, but everyone will find what they are looking for and the quality of the food is very good. Special requests - if feasible - will be gladly fulfilled.

Excellent meal tonight. I had the Schweinesteak and a glass of red wine. The staff was extremely friendly. Even though we were only getting glasses if wine (not a bottle) they let us taste several of the options. Loved the decor and the server invited us to go upstairs to look at the other dining area's decor. Fantastic evening!

This is what you want when you think of a German restaurant. Great food and that "old world" atmosphere. It can be very crowded, so make sure to get reservations.

Extremely rare food temple. Quite hidden in Schliengen, like a secret club, but worth every penny and meal! Only negative is the parking is very difficult. The side streets are either to small or already full of cars. But the City park has a parking lot as well and is just 100-150 meters away from the "Adler". (:
